Help & honest answers

The things people ask before they buy. Anything else — hello@gizamills.com.

Ordering & the list

Why is some of this a waitlist?
We open in small runs rather than holding huge stock — it keeps the price honest and the quality tight. Join the list and you'll hear before the next run goes live, with first pick.
Where are the polos made?
Cut and stitched in a family cotton workshop in Egypt — the same kind of atelier behind names you already know. "Knit in Egypt" on a GIZA MILLS bag means it.
Why are they so much cheaper than the obvious comparisons?
Because you're not paying for a flagship lease, a celebrity campaign, or a four-figure logo. Same cotton, same hands, same care — minus the markup. That's the whole idea.

Shipping

Where do you ship?
Across the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Gulf. Orders ship from within the EU, so EU customers see no surprise customs charges; outside the EU, any local duties are set by your customs and billed by the carrier on delivery.
How long does it take?
Typically 2–4 working days in the EU and 4–10 internationally. You'll get tracking the moment it leaves.
How much is shipping?
Complimentary everywhere we ship — every order is free, fully tracked and insured.

Returns

Can I return it?
Yes, free returns. 14 days in the EU (your statutory right of withdrawal), 30 days elsewhere. Send it back unused with the dust bag using our prepaid label and we'll refund in full.
What if something's wrong with it?
Email hello@gizamills.com with a photo. Genuine faults are on us — repair or replace, your call.

Cotton knit care

How do I care for my cotton knit?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or hand-wash, then reshape and dry flat — never tumble dry or hang. Light pilling is natural at first and settles after the first wash; lift any with a soft comb. The cotton only gets softer with wear.
And the smooth cotton?
Wipe with a soft dry cloth; condition a couple of times a year with a neutral cotton balm. Keep it out of prolonged direct sun. It'll soften and deepen with use.
How should I store it?
Stuffed lightly to hold its shape, in the dust bag, somewhere cool and dry. Not in plastic — cotton needs to breathe.
